Setting up Data and MMS settings on Android

In order for your Android phone to access both the mobile internet and be able to send MMS picture messages you will need to enter the following two settings. Unfortunately we are unable to send these settings over the air and they will have to be manually entered.

The following instructions are for version 2 (AKA Gingerbread) of Android.

1. Delete Existing APN Settings

  • Click Menu (usually a button on your phone)
  • Click Settings
  • Click Wireless & networks, scroll down the menu
  • Click Mobile networks
  • Click Access Point Names
  • Delete any existing settings by clicking on the setting to open it, then press Menu -> Delete APN

2. Add Titan Data APN

  • On the Access Point Names screen press Menu -> New APN
  • Enter the following settings for data access:
Name Titan Data
APN tslpaymoanet
Proxy empty
Port empty
Username empty
Password empty
Server empty
MMSC http://mms
MMS Proxy 193.35.133.194
MMS Port 8080
MMS Protocol WAP 2.0
MCC 234
MNC 33
Authentication Type CHAP
APN Type default
  • Once the settings have been entered press Menu -> Save
  • Ensure the settings have been selected by pressing the white circle

3. Add Titan MMS APN

  • On the APNs screen press Menu -> New APN
  • Enter the following settings to make use of MMS messages:
Name Titan MMS
APN tslmms

  • Once the settings have been entered press Menu -> Save
