+23 January 2014 - New Year, New Handsets for Titan Customers

Small business telecoms provider, Titan Telecom, has announced the arrival of two new handsets, the Samsung Galaxy Ace and Galaxy Ace 3. The new handsets are available to existing Titan customers signing up for a new mobile agreement.

The Galaxy Ace is a mid range handset, dubbed as the ‘true budget Smartphone’ by and sits firmly within the Samsung Galaxy family, as the S3’s younger brother. It offers great battery life, a 3.5” screen and is fully compatible with Google navigation.

The Galaxy Ace 3 features the latest android interface, 4” screen and amazing smart features such as Sounds and Shot, S Voice and S Translator. It has also been awarded 4 stars on, making it an excellent addition to Titan’s handset range, which also includes the Samsung Galaxy S3 and S3 mini.

+20 November 2013 - Titan Telecom Raises Thousands for Children in Need

Through a week of fun filled fund raising events, Titan Telecom has helped Children in Need to raise a record breaking £31million.

The week of events, hosted at Titan Telecom’s head office raised £3,418.00 for the charity, which supports disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

The fund raising events kicked off at the start of the week with a FIFA tournament and a man Vs food competition. Following this there was a baby photo quiz were employees had to guess which management were which from their baby pictures, a sponsored head shave, a raffle and two cake sales which raised over £200 alone.

The week of events built up to Children in Need day on Friday 15th November, where employees were invited to dress up in 80’s fancy dress for £3, before heading off to Titan’s Children in Need party after work at Wythenshawe Cricket Club.

The 80’s fancy dress day proved to be a huge success with the majority of staff paying the donation to come dressed up for the day. There were some fantastic costumes including, Robo cop, Slash from Guns and Roses, Super Mario and Run DMC. There was also a lot of neon disco wear and shell suits. 

The amount of money raised from employee donations was £1709.00, which was matched by Titan, making the total donated to Children in Need for 2013 £3,418.00.

In the wake of the Philippines Typhoon disaster, Titan Telecom decided to donate the same amount of money that the company matched for Children in Need towards helping the surviving victims in the Philippines, £1,709.00 has since been donated.  

+20 November 2013 - Titan Telecom Maintains ISO 9001: 2008 Standard for a Fifth Year

Titan Telecom continues to celebrate as it receives confirmation that it has maintained the internationally recognised ISO 9001 standard.

The ISO 9001 standard is awarded for high quality management systems. A company’s processes and procedures are assessed to ensure they adhere to the standards criteria and that they are focused upon improving for the benefit of its customers. 

Titan was independently assessed against five key areas including management, staff training, product and customer satisfaction procedures and the use of internal audits within its management. The review is to ensure internal reports are used by management to drive continuous improvement.

Titan Telecom was first awarded the ISO 9001: 2008 standard in 2008 and has successfully maintained the standard each year since. The re-accreditation of the standard has been greatly received, meaning the company has successfully maintained all of its accreditations for 2013. These include Customer Service Excellence®, Putting the Customer First®, Carbon Trust standard and the Investors in People accreditation.

+11 November 2013 - Titan Telecom Awarded Customer Service Excellence Standard

Following successful independent assessment Titan Telecom has been awarded the Customer Service Excellence® standard for a fourth year in a row.

Titan’s commitment to providing high quality services to the small business market has been highlighted once again through the re-accreditation of this award, as well as the fact that last month the company also received confirmation that it had met the stringent standards required to achieve the Putting the Customer First® award.

The Customer Service Excellence® standard assesses an organisation against areas which have been found to be of most importance to customers, including timeliness, information, professionalism and staff attitude.

The standard also looks into the development of customer insight, how an organisation understands its customers experience and how it measures customer satisfaction.  

Commenting on Titan’s customer service the assessor explained “Your management provides good leadership and policies that support customer focused services.”

“Your own survey results and customer feedback indicate that your staff are friendly and polite to customers whilst displaying a professional and knowledgeable approach.”

+25 October 2013 - Titan Telecom Puts its Customers First

Titan Telecom has received confirmation that it has achieved Putting the Customer First®, the UK’s national standard for customer service.

Initially gained in 2009, the standard focuses on a company’s ability to build customer relationships, maximise on its market awareness and develop its employees.

In order to achieve the standard, companies are assessed against 30 statements outlined by Customer First. They must provide evidence to demonstrate they are fully compliant.

An independent Customer First assessor visited Titan Telecom earlier this month to establish whether the company matched up to the standards criteria. The rigorous process included reviewing documentary evidence, interviewing staff from all areas of the business and analysing customer satisfaction surveys.

The assessment concluded that Titan was compliant with all 30 criteria that make up the standard and therefore it has been accredited as Putting the Customer First®. It will be re-assessed in 2015.

Earlier this year Titan Telecom was delighted to maintain its Carbon Trust Standard, for the management and reduction of its carbon emissions.

Titan are pleased to announce the arrival of four new mobile handsets to add to our range. These will be available to existing Titan Telecom business customers signing up for a new mobile agreement.

The new handsets available include two new Sony mobiles - Sony Xperia E, and the Sony Xperia SP, plus two handsets from CAT - the CAT B15 and CAT B25.

+1 January 2013 - Ofcom Bans Automatically Renewable Contracts (ARCs)

Ofcom have now completely banned automatically renewable contracts or 'ARCs' as they have become known, which tie landline and broadband customers into repeated minimum contract periods unless they opt out, from the market place. As of 31 December 2011, the sale of these contracts is now prohibited.

This is fantastic news for all business customers as it means there has never been a better time to reduce their business telecoms costs and switch to Titan.

BT was the largest provider who offered automatically renewable contracts, and we are urging all BT customers (as well as other expensive business telecoms provider’s customers) to check their contract end dates to see when they can switch to Titan. Any business that has already gone past their contract end date is eligible to switch without penalty.
